During our recent stay, we were delighted by the absolutely gorgeous little place run by an extremely friendly and approachable manager. The rustic atmosphere of the beautiful French town surrounding the hotel added to the charm. The fresh continental breakfast included in the price of the room was a delightful bonus, making this hotel excellent value for money. Furthermore, the convenient location, directly across the road from our destination, made exploring the area effortless. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in Moncontour.

What a wonderful romantic escape! The hotel was cozy, with lovely decor and cozy rooms with comfortable beds. The restaurant was amazing, we enjoyed delicious French cuisine, and the attentive staff ensured we had a lovely dining experience. The garden was also a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and enjoying romantic strolls.
The lack of air conditioning was a bit of a letdown, especially during the hot summer nights. The room was also a bit cramped, with limited space to move around.

The accommodation was average and needs improvement. the breakfast was overpriced and lacked variety, with only a few pieces of plain bread. the owners were friendly and helpful, but the lack of facilities made the stay uncomfortable. the location was interesting and the garden quite nice, but overall, the hotel failed to provide a satisfying experience.
The hotel lacked basic amenities and comfort, such as a place to sit and relax indoors when the weather was poor, air conditioning, and good ventilation.

I stayed at a private hotel in beautiful Moncontour for two nights. Patrick and his staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The hotel was clean, had a stunning garden and terrace, and convenient on-site parking. The restaurant served delicious food, especially the chicken brochettes. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you, Patrick!
I strongly recommend this hotel.
